Bristol Academy Flyers 105 London Leopards 96

Bristol Academy Flyers continued their rise up the basketball ladder with a 105-96 victory over the London Leopards to reach the semi-final of the Final Fours in their first season in Division One.

On their home court at Filton College, the Flyers built a 47-34 half time lead and then clung on to earn their trip to Sheffield which had looked unlikely only a couple of weeks earlier. The Flyers had finished fourth in the regular season table, just pipping the Leopards who slipped to fifth after their loss to Worthing on the final week-end.

The Flyers were so proud of their achievement in the league that they invited Sportuk.tv to film their showdown with the Leopards, and we were pleased to answer the last minute call. Although we only had limited resources available it was enough to capture the Flyers triumph.
